Hotwire Hotel: 4* Lake Tahoe (South) Embassy Suites

Took the first night at $87 to make sure it was not the time share Embassy Suites.Went back to get the second night and Hotwire tried to pull a fast one and up the rate to $96 on me.LOL,sorry Hotwire,I cleared my cookies and the second night came back for $87.I love this hotel,they have the best drinks of any ES that I have stayed at.I saved $140,as I had a AAA rate booked for $171 a night with tax through ES website.No Hilton Honors points are worth $140.These dates have been $160 per night on Hotwire for a month,the only reason I found the lower rate is because I was thinking about adding a night,so I checked Hotwire frist.

Since i've yet to have the good fortunre to stay at an ES i had assumed their evening manager's reception was just soft drinks, wine, and perhaps beeer. Is it more than that or does it differ from property to property?

Can you also include the amenities shown before purchase (still can be viewe at the MY ACCOUNT link on the top right of Hotwire's homepage). As well, this appears to be a Customer Favorite, correct?

Yes it is a favorite and the amenities are suite,restaurant,pool,fitness ctr,breakfast,kitchenette,golf,tennis,and after you click on view amenities it shows laundry.As for the drinks,it all depends on the location but they always have hard liquor.The nicer locations have high end liquor and Tahoe has frozen drinks but I cant remember if they have liquor in those,I think I had to add it to mine.At $87 per night they are going to lose $$$ with my wife at the bar!If you have a family,ES is the only way to go.My kid loves to run around the hotel and most ES are nice inside, safe hotels.
