thereuare Posted January 2, 2008 Report Posted January 2, 2008 Welcome to BetterBidding! It's actually equal what Zone I'll get as long as its a 4.Does this mean you're looking for a 4* hotel in any NYC zone? Including Downtown??Where and how much is your back-up? What is your maximum bid per nite for this stay... we wouldn't want to suggest a strategy which went higher than you were willing to spend.Should I bid at Priceline or Hotwire? There is no bidding on HOTWIRE. See this thread for the similarities and differences between each: I've Never Used Priceline or HotwireShould I start bidding now or should I wait? I've read that last minute biddings may be betterSee the related link in our PRICELINE FAQ. Please only ask for a bidding strategy once you have decided you are ready to bid. Norwaygirl Posted January 2, 2008 Author Report Posted January 2, 2008 Thank you for your quick reply I'd love to stay Downtown (great area and lovely 4 * hotels), but it will be intresting to explore new areas of NYC, and its actually equal where i stay. It's just me travelling so i'm flexsible. My back up is Jazz in the City hostel at UWS, I have a single double bedroom with ensuite bath. The price is 60 usd + tax each night, so that price is unbeatable - I don't have to high expectations to that price though. My max is 150 USD, but I'll be happy if I can manage to get it cheaper.I'm ready to start bidding right now! :)
