vegastripper2008
The BetterBidding Hotel List for Aruba shows these 7 hotels in the "Resort" classification:- Grand Resort- Hyatt Regency- Marriott Aruba Resort- Radisson Aruba Resort and Casino- Renaissance Aruba Beach Resort and Casino- Westin- Wyndham Aruba ResortHowever, when I search on Priceline.com for Aruba, I only find these 4 hotels in the Resorts category:- Westin Aruba- Aruba Marriott Resort & Casino- Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort- Renaissance Aruba Resort and CasinoI would definitely consider submitting a Priceline bid for the week before Presidents Day if these four were the only possibilities, but I'm not interested in the other 3 shown on the BetterBidding list: Grand Resort (which I think is Occidental Grand Aruba), Radisson Aruba, and Wyndham Aruba.I did a search on this site and found one Priceline winning bid posted for the Aruba Grand, from July 2003, and one winning bid for Wyndham, from March 2004. Both of those came up on Hotwire searches also, but with 3.5 and 4 stars indicated (??). Nothing came up on a search for Aruba Radisson. What do you think are the odds that a Priceline "resort" bid for Aruba would only go to the 4 listed on the Priceline.com website for purchase? Thanks much for your help!! vegastripper2008
We hope to go to Aruba for 7 nights, with a departure of Feb 8, 9, or 10 (prefer 10th), and return on Feb 15, 16, or 17 (prefer 17th). If we can find the right place for the right price during these date ranges, we're definitely going! I did not post a formal request here for bidding help because I'm first trying to get further clarity on this site's hotel list which may be outdated and/or inaccurate. If I can't, then I will probably decline to move forward.I didn't post any further on that NYC thread as our plans changed, and I didn't want to bump it up. I'll be happy to indicate this on that thread now. Thanks again. Link to comment

vegastripper2008
The hotel lists are neither outdates nor inaccurate... see the related link in our PRICELINE FAQ.Thanks for the reference to the FAQ, which I read. It says the hotel list is current, so I'll decline further action as I don't want to take a chance at getting one of the other three hotels you have listed for Aruba. I was hoping the list was not up to date, since a search of this site shows no instances of anyone ever winning the Aruba Radisson. Thanks again. Link to comment
