Priceline Hotel: Philly Center City Mar 4-6

Hello,

I would like to know how likely I would be to win a priceline bid - selecting 2 1/2 stars - location Center City. for the Courtyard Marriott or Residence Inn.

I do not want the Best Western.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Only the Courtyard has been reported in this zone, so if the other two are possibilities, nobody can say the chances of which one you're most likley to receive.

If you're not willing to accept any hotel in the zone, i would either:

1) bid a higher star level (assuming you're comfortable with the potential hotels at that level) or

2) use HOTWIRE where you have a better chance of identifying and therefore targeting, or avoiding, specific hotels

What is your budget per nite for this stay?

I just checked Hotwire and did not see the Hotel names listed. Based on the description, I think I want Center City East since I need to be near the Reading Terminal /Convention Center. Hotwire offers 4* for 182, 3* for 115, 3.5 * for 199, 2.5 * for 159 and 2* for 129. Not interested in the 2*.

As for my budget, between $75-$90 per night would be awesome. If I select 3* from Priceline, any ideas on what hotels or price ranges would win for 3*?

HOTWIRE will not show you the name(s) of the hotel, but by matching the star rating and amenities shown with what has been previously reported in the Hotwire Hotel List, you can often take an educated guess (sometimes a very educated guess) as to which hotel you're being offered. (never any guarantees though)
