thereuare Posted December 31, 2007 Report Posted December 31, 2007 Please include the date(s) of your stay, as well as the number of rooms and number of occupants you're including on your search... we'll then have a look at the above. SouthGeorgia Posted December 31, 2007 Author Report Posted December 31, 2007 The dates will be Jan 4th and 5th. I'll probably go with 2 adults and 2 kids in each room for 2 rooms on both nights. I think I'm ensured a double bed in each so I'll be ok. I might have to bring in a rollaway as well, but I'm not going to tell hotwire this. It's looking more and more like I'll probably just get the 3.5 Hilton in Downtown. I'll book through this link as well.
thereuare Posted December 31, 2007 Report Posted December 31, 2007 This property has not yet been identified. If i were to take a guess, i'd think the Baymont Inn and Suites could be a possibility. It seems to have all the amenities above, but not too confident in this guess given the Baymont Suites don't appear too often. The amenities often match those of the Holiday Inn Express or the La Quinta, but i couldn't find a location for either in this zone. Please do use our HOTWIRE link should you book the above and let us know what it is so that we can add this to the Hotwire Hotel List for this area.Let us know whatever you end up doing for this stay or if we can be of further help. SouthGeorgia Posted January 1, 2008 Author Report Posted January 1, 2008 I went with the 3* for 49 a night. I linked through here and it turned out to be the Holiday Inn on International Blvd. Parking is $18 a day and it's all valet. I already knew the 3.5* was the Hilton, but they wanted $62 a night. I'm 2 blocks from MARTA and we can walk to and from the NBA game next Sat night. I've never stayed here. I know it wont be The Intercontinental, but what the heck for $49. I was just a little afraid to pull the trigger with the 2.5*. A big hotel like this and I can usually slip in an extra kid with a rollaway and get it myself if need be. Thanks for the great site.
thereuare Posted January 1, 2008 Report Posted January 1, 2008 Congratulations on your success and thank you for sharing it with the board.Assuming this is the Holiday Inn World Congress Center at 101 Andrew Young International Blvd, i had seen this while researching, but this property does not offer Complimenatary Breakfast, contrary to the amenities which are being shown by HOTWIRE. (you can call them to confirm)If indeed Breakfast is not offered, i would call HOTWIRE and they will likely offer you the option of cancelling the reservation or offering you hot Dollars for a future stay... but more importantly, hopefully correct this inaccuracy. If you do pursue it let us know the outcome. Thanks for sharing and enjoy your stay. SouthGeorgia Posted January 1, 2008 Author Report Posted January 1, 2008 You're right this hotel does not include breakfast. The 2.5* had the breakfast, but I went for 3* which turned out to be The Holiday Inn on International Blvd.
