Bid $80 at Priceline through this web site for a 4* in either Downtown or Coastal area and bid was rejected so I added Mission Valley (although no 4* was listed for that area) and raised bid to $90 and bid was accepted.

Welcome to BetterBidding!

Thank you for sharing your winning bid with the board. From the top of the Priceline Hotel List:

This list is NOT a complete list of all hotels that Priceline offers in this area, it is ONLY a compilation of hotels that have already been reported on this forum. Hotels are added/removed by Priceline acll the time, and star ratings can change at ANY time. As well, the geographic boundaries of an area are subject to change, so it is always a good idea to look at the Priceline map before purchasing. DO NOT USE THIS LIST to determine what areas to add when attempting to bid again within the 72 24 hour window (CLICK HERE for information on how to add cities in order to bid again).

Please read the Priceline Re-Bidding Explained link and feel free to ask any questions that you have.

Hopefully this will work well for your plans.

Enjoy your stay.

Actually, the location is Mission Bay, very close to Sea World, so it is a coastal area and from the looks of it, a very good price for a Bay View Hotel.

Congratulations.
