Priceline Hotel: 3* Newark (Jersey City) Hyatt Regency on the Hudson

Bid $80 first and was rejected then $85.

Also i was offered a extra night for the 2nd at $170, so i bid at $90 then $100 both rejected then $105 won.

Has anyone gone with a 3rd person?

If so have you had to pay extra?

I know priceline is only for two and that i should not use priceline if i want to take more, but i am willing to take the risk,

I will sleep on the floor if i need too.

Yes, I have traveled with 3 or even 4 many times. I would say overall there is about a 15% chance that a request for 2 double beds will not be honored. Some hotels do charge for extra people in the room, so if you happen to win a hotel that does charge, the best advice is to be discrete and not have everyone crowd the counter when you check in unless you really do want to pay for the extra person(s).

The 15% usually happens in larger markets like San Francisco or Washington DC. If possible, i bring an air mattress along "Just in case".
