halfvass
First bid was $70. Not accepted but a message popped up and told me if I'd add $22 to the bid I had a room, without changing anything else. I had never gotten this message before. But, since I knew I had a free bid by checking the BWI neighborhood (they don't have a 4 Star), I didn't accept their offer. Went back, rebid $75 with additional area checked and got the Marriott. Taxes, etc. are $17.40, so a total of $92.40That's the good news. The bad news is that I didn't know parking would be $21/night! Yikes! :) Thanks to all for their posts and help and for a terrific site. Link to comment
gulhaider
I followed your instructions, but unfortunately, there IS a 4 star hotel in the BWI area, the Westin BWI. Now, I will either have to eat the $107 and rebook at another hotel or stay at the Westin BWI. :) Link to comment
thereuare
gulhaider,Welcome to BetterBidding!I followed your instructions...I don't think that you should interpret somebody elses bidding history as 'instructions' for your own stay. This thread is nearly a month hold and hotels are added/removed/upgraded/downgraded all the time. The correct way to determined re-bid zones is discussed here: Priceline Re-Bidding ExplainedIt would be appreciated if you would add your win to the board as a NEW TOPIC and include the date(s) of your stay in the post as it could help others who may be looking to stay in this area.If you choose to bid for a hotel again for this stay feel free to ask for help before bidding. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
