sciallas Posted November 29, 2007 Report Posted November 29, 2007 Hi I`m new on here and am visiting NYC during July. My dates are fixed (23rd-27th). The last time we visited NY we stayed in Novotel just off Times Square and would like to stay in the same area. Midtown West . When would be the best time to start bidding for a double room in a 3-4 star hotel in this area?
thereuare Posted November 29, 2007 Report Posted November 29, 2007 Welcome to BetterBidding!See the related link in our PRICELINE FAQ.As NYC is so compact, and mass transit readily available and inexpensive, I'd also recommend considering more areas than just MTW if you're looking for the best deal. Doing so increases the number of hotels which could possibly accept your bid as well as increase the number of bids you have. When you're ready to bid let us know if you're willing to accept other zones or just stick with MTW as well as your maximum bid and we'll suggest a strategy to follow. sciallas Posted November 29, 2007 Author Report Posted November 29, 2007 Thank you for replying so quickly (and for your earlier advice)I think we`ll stick to the MTW area and would like to pay up to $1000 for the four night stay (including taxes etc)
