Priceline Hotel: 3* NYC (UM-CPS) Wellington Hotel

Hi,

I'm new here...

I'm looking for a 3* hotel in any midtown area, from 12/23 to 12/25. I checked hotwire, and found there is a 3.5* hotel at midtown center area at $129/night. Then I tried to bid on priceline with 3*, MTW, MTE and MTS at $100/night, but no luck.

Please help on the bidding strategy. What's price can I expect for this?

Under $100 for NYC is somewhat rare. What are the amenities that are associated with the 3.5* that HOTWIRE is offering? What is your maximum bid for this stay? Is UM/CPS an option as well?

Hotwire is offering this 3.5* hotel with Fitness Center, Restaurant, Business Center and High speed internet.

I hope I can get 3* hotel at midtown within $120. Is it possible? What is bidding plan do you suggest?

I'm not sure what 'UM/CPS' means, but if it means somewhere else other than midtown, then I don't think it's an option for me.

UM/CPS = UpperMidtown/Central Park South

... which is usually considered a convenient location.

Let us know if we should include this in a strategy or not and we'll advise accordingly.
