Priceline Hotel: 3* Tucson (East) Doubletree Reid Park

I went through SavingsBarn to use Priceline.

I had been trying Tucson resorts for a few days at $75 and under without luck, so I bid on 3* East, adding La Paloma and North Tucson, from $43, $45, and won on $50. $64.19 was the total.

We had good cookies, a good room (2 queen). My husband liked the price, my son enjoyed the gym, and the pink grapefruit I picked from one of the numerous citrus trees behind the pool was so sweet. We didn't use the tennis center or pool, but both were nice. 5K walk around Reid Park across the street was handy. This hotel is going through a big renovation and we didn't see any of it. Priceline offered another night at 77.00 plus tax, but we passed.
