rochbie Posted November 24, 2007 Report Posted November 24, 2007 I tried to book a 3 or 4 star hotel in down town or airport for these dates and I am not getting them for up to $55. I researched and found that the Miami Dolphins are hosting the Bengals on the 30th. I guess this explains as to why the rooms are pricey for this night. Also Price line seems to remember my previous bid, even after 24 hours.. ie I select airport and bid on it.. it comes back and says that I have bid on 3 and 4 star [my previous days choices] hotels and I have to change some thing before it will let me bid. And after 2 attempts it blocks me out...:)can I bid on hotwire, like price line???Thanks
thereuare Posted November 24, 2007 Report Posted November 24, 2007 Welcome to BetterBidding! There is no bidding on HOTWIRE. The price, star rating, and amenities are shown, but not the hotel name... you choose to purchase the hotel or not. If you do a HOTWIRE search to you see anything within your budget? If so, let us know the amenities associated with the property being offered and we'll try to help you identify it.If you continue on priceline, let us know your maximum bid for this stay and we'll suggest a strategy for you to follow. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
rochbie Posted November 25, 2007 Author Report Posted November 25, 2007 Well I started at 60 and bid 70, and got Hilton airport.. 4*.
