jr1977 Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 Apologies for accidentally originally posting this on the Priceline thread (I can't figure out how to delete the other post! - sorry, Moderator)Was hoping to get a sanity check that this price is reasonable. It looks substantially cheaper than every other site I've checked for this caliber hotel and this price on the night in question (a Saturday!) I have never used anything but Expedia/Travelocity before. I am also wondering if there is a general view that prices might come down from here (it's already down $10 from last night) due to the stagehand strike. Also, does 4* mean 4*? Should I expect something like a Hyatt/Intercontinental?Ultimately I am just looking for a Marriott/Sheraton/Hilton - caliber hotel located ANYWHERE in Manhattan for the night of December 1. thank you so, so much for any light you can shed.JR.
jr1977 Posted November 21, 2007 Author Report Posted November 21, 2007 Update: I went ahead and booked - the price went up to $420 and I just decided to grab it. The hotel is the Millenium UN Plaza. It was listed as 4*.
