Hilton Torry Pines for $75 per night

Originally looking for a 3* hotel in Hotel Circle (Mission Valley) area.

First bid, $60.00. rejected. 24 hours later $65 rejected. then $70 rejected.

Decide to add an extra area with only 4* hotels so we can bid again right away. We were sure the 4* hotels would not accept such a low bid and it would give us another chance to bid $5 more for the circle area. (reversing the system we all use when trying to get extra bids) We added in the San Diego coastal area.

We got the coastal area and ended up with the Hilton Torry Pines for $75 per night.

Parking is $17 per night. :)

Hi! What hotel were you targeting for? And how did your stay turn out. I'm about to start bidding in San Diego area for the month of late December and I wanted to know your opinion about the pros and cons of this particular hotel.

Thanks,

WAgirl :)
