kevkev1986 Posted November 14, 2007 Report Posted November 14, 2007 I plan to stay at this hotel from 11/21 to 11/22. However, I could not find it anywhere on priceline. On hotwire, there is "3.5-star hotel in Central Syracuse", but I'm not sure if this is Sheraton or Renaissance Hotel. Hotwire says that the normal rate would be $129, which is how much Renaissance normally costs. I think Sheraton normally charges $199/night.Any help would be greatly appreciated!p.s. I am looking for a hotel that is the closest to the Upstate NY Medical Center (within walking distance if it is any possible).Thank you!
blindman Posted November 14, 2007 Report Posted November 14, 2007 Welcome to Betterbidding.I've moved your request to a new thread as this keeps the board tidier easier to navigate. If you choose to use HOTWIRE then we'll move the post to the appropriate thread. However, I could not find it [sheraton] anywhere on priceline.Unless you were looking on the non opaque side of Priceline, you cannot 'see' the hotel until you actually win it.3.5-star hotel in Central SyracuseWhat amenities does this show?BTWHotwire says that the normal rate would be $129,Ignore this red herring!
kevkev1986 Posted November 14, 2007 Author Report Posted November 14, 2007 Sorry for the troubles! Newbie to betterbidding here :) From the previous posts that I've read, it seemed like priceline used to divide Syracuse into regions. I can only see one region right now and since Sheraton is not even listed on the non-opaque list, I'm not sure if they offer a room there. Amenities show:- Airport shuttle- Pool- Business center- High speed internet access- Fitness center- Restaurant- Laundry facilitiesThanks!
blindman Posted November 14, 2007 Report Posted November 14, 2007 Looking at the hotwire hotel list this is a close match to 3.5* Marx Hotel.I have no other information to say it is, others may have, so no guarantees!
