Grease Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 I am an early planner when it comes to vacations(early bird get the worm/deal).My question is, am I planning too early(nearly 10 months) for a hotel. Hotwire lists a 4* Downtown Toronto East hotel for $109. I've been to Toronto 4-5 times and am pretty familiar with the area, but I'm wondering if I should hold off on booking this hotel, in hopes of a lower price, or if I should book it now b/c this rate is during the Toronto Film Festival? The hotel is a "Customer favorite", with Spa, Gym, Pool, Restaurant and "Tennis Nearby"(which leads me to believe it is either Cambridge Suites or the Renaissance.Any guesses on what hotel this is? Also any advice on if I should hold out for a slightly lower rate, or book before others start booking for the film festival? Thanks!Grease
blindman Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 Welcome to BetterBidding.am I planning too early(nearly 10 months) for a hotel. This is the priceline.FAQ and look at this threadHowever as you say this is when the Film festival is, if it is a good price then maybe it's worth getting now. When exactly are you planning to go? (I see the Film festival is Sept 4th-13th?).We need exact dates to help ID this hotel.Choosing various dates in that time-scale I see an almost identical hotel-except it has a Business icon. Please confirm that you have listed all the amenities.I can't see a match on the HOTWIRE list for TorontoIf you choose to bid on HOTWIRE please use the link provided. Thanks
Grease Posted November 13, 2007 Author Report Posted November 13, 2007 Sorry, the dates are 09/05/08 to 09/09/08All the amenities are Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, Hi-Speed Internet, Tennis Nearby and Spa.Once again it's a 4* Customer Favorite at $109/nightThanks again!
tilepusher Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 The amenities you listed are a match for the Westin Harbour Castle on both the Hotwire List and on Hotwire's Vacation Packages, so that would be my guess.
blindman Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 I would agree it's most probably the Westin Harbour Castle If you purchase through HOTWIRE please use the link provided.Thanks.
