vvixen Posted November 12, 2007 Author Report Posted November 12, 2007 4* or ResortDowntown OrlandoUniversal Studios/SeaworldStarted at $64. Added Kissimee to list (no 4* hotels there) and re-bid to $69.RejectedHolding an Expedia reservations at Peabody Hotel for same dates at $137/night.BTW - on Priceline, I THINK I got the Lake Buena Vista Palace at $94. But, the hotel's website is $99 - so, if we stayed there, would go directly to the hotel and book.Hope this helps someone.
thereuare Posted November 12, 2007 Report Posted November 12, 2007 Welcome to BetterBidding! What are the date(s) of your stay? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
vvixen Posted November 12, 2007 Author Report Posted November 12, 2007 Dates are 12/24 - 12/27Possibly the Lake Buena Vista Palace? At which case I won't take. Advertised rate on their site is $99.Really want the Lexington or Peabody. Have the Peabody reserved from Expedia at $137YOUR SITE IS FANTASTIC. Thank you.
thereuare Posted November 12, 2007 Report Posted November 12, 2007 Please keep all posts for the same stay in the same thread. The HOTWIRE hotel above is a match for the Buena Vista Palace so that would be our best guess. In regards to your priceline bidding, you're not using all of your re-bid zones... are you familiar with re-bidding? (see Priceline Re-Bidding Explained, but if the concept is new to you i'd recommend asking questions and/or confirming your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding to avoid any mistakes)Given that you can't choose the Lexington or Peabody thru Priceline, are you willing to accept any 4* or higher hotel in the zone?PS- thanks for the compliments on the site :) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
vvixen Posted November 13, 2007 Author Report Posted November 13, 2007 Yes. I am willing to accept any (either) 4 star in the Universal/Seaworld zone.
thereuare Posted November 14, 2007 Report Posted November 14, 2007 ... but not a 4* in Downtown? (so you'll only be bidding on Universal/SeaWorld, correct?)What is your maximum bid? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
