thereuare Posted November 12, 2007 Report Posted November 12, 2007 Welcome to BetterBidding! This property has not yet been identified. However, not knowing anything about the upcoming Hilton property, i would tend to think it would be rated higher than 3 stars... and would not likely include food and beverages. This seems more like an all-inclusive propert to me. (something like the Allegro Papagayo... although that property has been seen with many more amenities than the above HOTWIRE offering)Please use this HOTWIRE link for any purchases you make.Let us know whatever you decide to do for this stay or if we can be of further help. bkark Posted November 12, 2007 Author Report Posted November 12, 2007 I would also assume that the Hilton would be more than 3 stars but maybe since it's still currently the Premier Fiesta they haven't updated the star rating yet? When it becomes a Hilton it will remain all-inclusive according to Hilton Costa Rica. I actually already booked a vacation next month at the Premier Fiesta but am going to have to cancel it. Since the price of the hotel will skyrocket next year I won't be able to afford it so that's why I'm hoping this Hotwire hotel is it.In my research for the trip I'm going to cancel I only found 6 all-inclusive resorts in the area. So it seems like it needs to be one of the following:1. Allegro Papagayo - Probably not it since the amenities don't match (Resort, Beachfront, Food and Beverages Included, A La Carte Dining, Evening Entertainment Included, Daily Activities Included, Complimentary Breakfast, Children's Activity Program, Pool(s), Restaurant(s))2. Barcel
thereuare Posted November 12, 2007 Report Posted November 12, 2007 Even though the first three hotels show different amenities is there any chance that it could be one of them?Yes, some hotels change amenities frequently and/or show different amenities thru the hotel service and the vacation packages service. The Barcelo and Flamingo are supposed to have casinos but according to the Hotwire amenities they don't.HOTWIRE doesn't have to show all the amenities offered... the only assurance is that the amenities shown are available. As i commented above, i didn't know much (read: anything :) ) regarding the Hilton, so the fact that they will remain all-inclusive once they take it over leaves the door open as a possibility.
