Hotwire Hotel: 4* Seattle (Downtown) The Westin Seattle 7/30/07-8/1/07

I got my third bid (others were $120 and $125) accepted at $130 a night at this beautiful location.

They treated us really well and gave us a room on the 35 floor in the newer tower of the hotel which gave us an amazing view of the city at night.

My only grievance was that we wanted one king bed but all they had available at the time was two doubles.

The room was very large with floor to ceiling windows for great views. They had a really nice pool and extra large hot tub as well as nice fitness facilities. And they had a really nice bar downstairs for a night cap.

It was just a couple of block away from Pike's Market and shopping district.

We were very happy with the final outcome and would definitely stay here again. :)

If you ever receive this property again (or for others following along), for my stay at this property a few years back they were very accomodating in terms of getting me the room type i wanted (King bed on a high floor) if i was willing to wait while they cleaned such a room. We were checking in about 6pm, so we went out for dinner and when we returned picked up the keys to our room with a king bed on a high floor.
