Hotwire Hotel: 1* Miami (Downtown) Miami Sun Hotel

A friend of mine and I were just looking for a cheap stay near downtown Miami. What a mistake. I realize this was a 1-star rating, but I feel like this hotel shouldn't even be operating and hotwire shouldn't be partnering with them. We felt like we would get a disease from the room. We were put into a room with two twin beds for our double occupancy. The front desk refused to give us a refund when we were unsatisfied because "we have been here longer than an hour and a lot of people just use the room for their 'business' (i.e. sex) and then want to leave" So basically its a prostitute motel?

I dont have the amenities, since I booked it on 7/19/07 but it didn't have much to offer :)

Are you able to still view the amenities shown before your purchase by clicking the MY STUFF link near the top of HOTWIRE's home page? (and then clicking the MY TRIPS link)

Not sure if you did, but if you have a similar problem in the future (hopefully you won't), try calling HOTWIRE while at the hotel after not receiving any satisfcation from management. Did you ever contact them after your stay?
