littont Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 Thanks to this board for the strategy.Just got 3 rooms for 3 nights at the Courtyard Marriott in Berlin City Centre for $52.That makes a total price of GBP267.75 (about $565).If I look at getting the same rooms direct from the hotel it comes in at 1461 euros ($2144!!!!)Quite a saving - and the real bonus? This is the Berlin marathon weekend so "normal" hotel booking is particularly difficult - I've managed to get 3 rooms for less cost than I have found anywhere else for 2 rooms! (this is important to me because normally I squeeze 4 adults and 2 children into 2 rooms to save having to pay for a 3rd room but now we can spread ourselves out!)
