passport_in_tow Posted October 31, 2007 Report Posted October 31, 2007 I bid on a 5* hotel in Barcelona region "West and Suburbs", with the hopes of getting the Eurostars Grand Marina Hotel. In previous posts, that hotel shows as being won in the region "East", but now there are no 5* hotels showing in the East, and looking at the priceline maps it is indeed in the "West and Suburbs" map (just barely).Anyways, I bid $175 and got a counter-offer of $243. I re-bid $195, and it was rejected. The dates I was bidding on were Nov. 7 - 11, 2007.I decided not to continue bidding, as I found other nice hotels in the 140 euro range through other sources.(Bid using the PRICELINE link at www.savingsbarn.com)
