Priceline Hotel: 3* Pittsburgh (Greentree) Holiday Inn

I will be staying in Pittsburgh (Greentree) for 11/9 - 11/14 and was wondering if the Holiday Inn was still listed as one of the 3-star hotels for Priceline.

I read really bad reviews from tripadvisor and I'm weary of getting that hotel as my winning bid. I was wondering if anyone knows if there's a way for me to avoid it or if it was still even considered a hotel for that area from Priceline.

As far as i know, it is still rated 3 stars by priceline.

If you're trying to target a specific property, or avoid a specific property, HOTWIRE may be a better option.

If you search HOTWIRE is there anything in this area within your budget (we can then try to determine if it's the Holiday Inn or not)

Here's a little late followup...

Seeing how I was staying in Pittsburgh for several days , I really wanted to save on hotel costs so I ended up using Priceline, even if it meant the possibility of getting this particular Holiday Inn.

I find that typically, winning bids on Priceline tend to be cheaper than Hotwire.

That said, I went with 3 stars in the Greentree area and bidded around $35 and won. My stay was overall much more pleasant than I anticipated.

The location was great as it was only 10 minutes to downtown. Service was adequate. Cleanliness needed some work (there was a dead fly in the bathroom) but again, I wanted to save money and since I had read reviews of this hotel prior to staying, I sorta knew what to expect.
