I won on my first bid for a three star hotel in White House-Downtown zone of Washington, D.C. I paid a total of $283.60 for three night stay, which included $43.60 in taxes and service fees + $80 x 3 nights. I imagine than an experienced bidder could have done much better, but I was pleased to get a room mid-week in the location I wanted for the price I offered.
