willwill02 Posted October 27, 2007 Report Posted October 27, 2007 Hi,I'm seeking help. Hopefully I've posted to the correct place here.I'd like to stay at a Palm Springs, CA resort from 11/20-11/22 (two nights). Preferably, it would be as nice as possible 3* or 4*, up to $160 per night. I don't care too much which resort it is or where it is, just as long as it's nice. This is right before Thanksgiving. I'm checking out Thanksgiving day.Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

willwill02 Posted October 27, 2007 Author Report Posted October 27, 2007 Hi thereuare,Sorry about that. I've posted my two previous posts as best I could, given that it's been a year. I checked my credit statement and old e-mails, but I didn't save all of them it seems. I think by my replying this post will bump. I hope...?
thereuare Posted October 28, 2007 Report Posted October 28, 2007 Did you only want to search the Palm Springs zones or did you also want to bid the (Rancho Mirage-Indian Wells-Palm Desert) and/or Indio zones? Are you willing to pay more for a Resort vs. a 3* or is the least expensive 3* or better hotel what you're seeking? (ie- there are no 4* hotels offered in this zone so you'd be bidding for a Resort property, not a 4*) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
willwill02 Posted October 28, 2007 Author Report Posted October 28, 2007 My preference would be any of the zones around the Palm Springs area.I would be willing to pay more for a Resort, then bidding for 3*.Thanks!
thereuare Posted October 28, 2007 Report Posted October 28, 2007 My preference would be any of the zones around the Palm Springs area.Sorry, given that the region is named "Palm Springs" and also contains a zone named "Palm Springs", i'm still not certain of your preference. Specifically:did you also want to bid the (Rancho Mirage-Indian Wells-Palm Desert) and/or Indio zones? willwill02 Posted October 29, 2007 Author Report Posted October 29, 2007 Sorry, given that the region is named "Palm Springs" and also contains a zone named "Palm Springs", i'm still not certain of your preference. Specifically:Sorry again! My order of preference would be: 1) Palm Springs, 2) then Rancho Mirage-Indian Wells-Palm Desert3) then Indio
thereuare Posted October 29, 2007 Report Posted October 29, 2007 Is price or location more important? For instance, given the same star rating, would you prefer a cheaper hotel in Rancho Mirage or a more expensive hotel in Palm Springs? willwill02 Posted October 29, 2007 Author Report Posted October 29, 2007 Price is more important, so I'd take the cheapter hotel in Rancho Mirage.
thereuare Posted October 29, 2007 Report Posted October 29, 2007 I'd begin as follows:Select Resort Rancho Mirage...Bid $60, if rejected add Palm Springs...Bid $70, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.Select Resort Rancho Mirage and Indio...Bid $80, if rejected add Palm Springs...Bid $85.Any questions feel free to ask.Good Luck and let us know how it goes.
