danchon Posted October 24, 2007 Report Posted October 24, 2007 Hey All,Just recently found this forum, and trying to plan out a vacation with my girlfriend.I did lots of research and found that I will probably be wanting to stay at the Outrigger located on waikiki beach. My max bid will probably be 160-165dates of stay 12/7 through 12/13Quick question. I havn't bidded on priceline yet, and I was wondering If i were to bid lets say 150, and got an offer from another hotel in the same class in the same region (ie sheraton), would I be forced to book that hotel? Is there any way to try to get a specific hotel? especially if there are multiple hotels in the same class and area? Thanks in advance guys, sorry for newbie question
thereuare Posted October 24, 2007 Report Posted October 24, 2007 Welcome to BetterBidding! You can not bid on a specific hotel (if you could, why would anyone book direct at higher prices?) If you are trying to target a specific property HOTWIRE may be a better option, but still no guarantees.Start here: I've Never Used Priceline or Hotwire. If you'd like to proceed with an opauque purchase let us know your maximum budget and the minimum star rating you're willing to accept and we'll take it from there. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
