Welcome to BetterBidding!

You have two different questions here... one for airfare and one for hotels, or are you looking for a package? (for which there is no bidding)

We'll address your airfare questions here, for a hotel feel free to start a NEW TOPIC in the Priceline Florida section of the board.

In regards to your airfare, what is the best rate you can find thru 'traditional' services? (use our Airfare Checker to help search rates). How much would you need to save to make an opaque purchase worthwhile?

Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases

Did you already book thru priceline at 459? Was this a bid price or just a regular fair. The fair is now 414 for american airlines on both priceline and the aa website. If you have already booked and the win wasn't a bid win.....then i would check what fare class you have for your current ticket and compare it to the fare class of the 414 ticket. If they are the same and if im not mistaken then you are entitled to a refund of the difference.

Did you make an attempt at bidding for the airfare at all....if not i think you should have at least tried. You might have been able to get the fare for 375 or less.
