Hotwire Hotel: 3* Phoenix (West-Litchfield Park) Holiday Inn West

This is a hotel that comes up for 11/3-11/4 2007.

Price: $49

Ammenities: Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant

Location: 15.7 miles to Phoenix Sky Harbor Intl.

Seems like a good deal for a 3* hotel, but is kind of lacking in ammenities. Maybe this is a partial list?

Well, I went ahead and bid it, thinking it would be a good hotel.

I was wrong.

It was the Holiday Inn Phoenix West, which if Tripadvisor has anything to say about it is the worst hotel in the world. I guess since it is prepaid I will grin and bear it, but hopefuly my pain will mean no one who posts here in the future will have to endure...

Maybe the hotel won't be so bad. I'll post a review later.

Thank you for sharing your results with the board... sorry to hear you're not happy with the results on this one. You could call HOTWIRE to challenge their star rating, but i just looked at the reviews and they're not nearly as bad as you imply above. Yes, ther eare some very negative ones, but there are some very positive ones as well, and the overall satisfcation rating is 3.5, so nothing "too terrible" i would think.

Stay away from this hotel if you can!

The place smelled horrible, the rooms were dirty, and the staff was completely apathetic. This was not even up to typical Holiday Inn quality! The neighborhood the hotel in is really run down, so I can see why the hotel owners are just letting it go rather than improving their service. I wish I had gone for a 3 star in another part of town for only 10 bucks more!

If you see a 3 star in west phoenix with only a Pool, Fitness Center and Restaurant in the amenities, avoid it!
