Hotwire Hotel: 3* Boston (Burlington - Woburn)Holiday Inn Select Woburn

A Heads Up from someone who was overly optimistic on a Burlington/Woburn 3*.

I recently booked a 3* Hotwire hotel with many amenities listed. I ended up with the Holiday Inn Select in Woburn, a real disappointment. The hotel (I am actually writing from my room) is dismal. The on site restaurant is poor, hallways are dimly lit, the carpet is dirty, mold is present on the bathroom ceiling, the temperature is impossible to regulate due to the dated heating/air conditioning unit, and the bed is the worst I have ever encountered (worn to the point that the individual springs can be felt). Indications are that this hotel may have once been a Radisson. A worn sticker on the telephone reveals the previous hotel chain. Definitely a hotel that is in a downward spiral not worthy of a 3* label, beware.

Thank you for the welcome. I have been a reader for some time and felt that I needed to contribute.

In regards to this hotel, I had exhuasted Priceline bids before trying Hotwire and accepting a 3* hotel at $79 for 10/15 to 10/19. Amenities include business center, fitness center, pool, restaurant on site, and internet. I was expecting that I was going to receive one of the hotels from the list above, unfortunately this was not the case.
