bri070102 Posted October 18, 2007 Report Posted October 18, 2007 As you'll remember, I booked 1 night 12/14 @ the Radisson. Now I need 5 nights 12/22 to 12/27 in Miami...and came across a 3.5* condo in South Beach for $139/night. I don't see this hotel listed on your Hotwire hotel list so was hoping you can help me out with a guess or two...?Amenities: Suite, 1 bedroom suite, airport shuttle, a/c, high speed internet access, near beach, fully-equipped kitchen, daily housekeeping, 24 hour front desk, boutique hotel. (The first 8 icons on the main page are: a picture of a house? (not sure if that means condo?), suite, beach access, 1 bedroom, kitchen, airport shuttle, housekeeping and a/c)Thanks for your help!
thereuare Posted October 18, 2007 Report Posted October 18, 2007 This property has not yet been identified, but a Shuttle is not a common amenity in South Beach, and is usually associated with one of the South Beach Group (a company) of hotels, which include the following:Catalina Hotel & Beach ClubChesterfield Hotel, Suites & Day SpaMercury ResortMetropole South BeachHotel ShelleyWhitelaw Hotel... so any of the above would be our best guess. Please use this HOTWIRE link to begin any purchases you make.Do you need a condo property for this stay. bri070102 Posted October 18, 2007 Author Report Posted October 18, 2007 Thanks for your suggestions. I'll have to research more on them and see if it's worth it or not. I'd almost love to do it just so you get a change to update your list! :)I don't necessarily *need* a condo for my stay. I'm basically open to the location (ie. downtown, miami beach, south beach) and type of lodging. Since this will be my first trip to Miami for a semi-extended stay (not including that 1 night pre-cruise) I'm more going on value - a balance of cost and comfort level.
thereuare Posted July 15, 2008 Report Posted July 15, 2008 Please folllow-up your previous Hotwire South Beach thread with whatever you ended up doing for that stay. Then bump this thread and we'll have a look at the above. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. bri070102 Posted July 15, 2008 Author Report Posted July 15, 2008 Hi,Unfortunately I didn't end up using HOTWIRE for my South Beach trip last year. Travelzoo ended up having an excellent deal on a property that I just couldn't turn down at the time. Thanks again for your help!
