wass8940
I found the Intercontinental which is 4.5* on Front Street which I've stayed at before on Hotwire for $105 so I'd say no higher than that. But I'd love to be around $80-90 Link to comment
cober6711
Do as priceline says and 'Don't be a Namby-Pamby', but rest assured, you're very close to hitting that magic number!Your $60 will LIKELY get you a 3-star (and some of the supposed 3-star hotels are actually rated 4-stars)The most Ive ever paid for a 4-star in the off-season is $77.Just remember, add areas without 4-star hotels to allow yourself to re-bid (ie Don Valley does not have a 4-star in it) Avoid bidding on a 3-star in the Don Valley; you'll get the Crowne Plaza which DOES subject Priceline guests to 'Priceline Discrimination'.Ive noticed no such discrimination at the 4 star hotels in Downtown toronto (Sheraton, Westin, Sutton Place). In fact, I always get good rooms. Just make sure if you get the Sheraton to make sure they don't put you in the 'Richmond Tower' and to make sure you face south. Link to comment
