Good observation. :) But the Miami hotel wasn't for me. It was for a friend of mine because she has never used Hotwire before.

This property has not yet been identified. If i were to take a guess i'd think the Holiday Inn could be a good possibility.

I've booked this hotel, using the HOTWIRE link provided by betterbidding. I got the Country Inn and Suites in Pharr, Texas. I'm not too thrilled about the location, since the description said McAllen, TX, not Pharr, TX. I got it for $59 for our stay 11/08-11/11.

While this property's address is in Pharr, it is clearly in HOTWIRE's boundary of this zone (in fact, almost dead center).

I just want to add that we really liked this hotel. The rooms were spacious, nice and clean. The location was about 5.5 miles from La Plaza Mall and there's a lot of shopping area in between. Yes, there are a lot of hotels within the mall area, but since we had a car, this was never a problem. We got a room on the 3rd floor and there was an elevator available. A complimentary breakfast was included with waffles, bagles, muffins, toast, yogurth, fruit, oatmeal, cereal, coffee, hot cocoa, milk and orange juice. Check-in and check-out was in no time and they greet you with cookies. The room had a mini-fridge and a microwave oven, coffee maker with complimentary coffee bags, etc., and free high speed internet. We would definitely stay here again.
