chelsea_8 Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 I have been trying for almost a month to book a hotel for Oct 25-28 in Priceline. We are looking for a 3* or 4* in MW, ME, MS, UM. We have used many combinations of zones- usually adding one zone and increasing the price slightly each time we re-bid. Our last bid was for $225 in all zones. We would ideally like to spend less than $300. Please send any suggestions. Thank you!
thereuare Posted October 17, 2007 Report Posted October 17, 2007 Welcome to BetterBidding! Are you willing to bid up to $300/nite at this point in time?Let us know and we'll suggest a strategy for you to follow. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
chelsea_8 Posted October 17, 2007 Author Report Posted October 17, 2007 Yes we are. At this point we just want to be able to get a hotel at a decent price.
thereuare Posted October 17, 2007 Report Posted October 17, 2007 One more questions before suggesting a strategy so that the approach meets your preferences... did you want to bid up to your limit for a 4* hotel before lower your star rating to a 3* OR are you really looking for the least expensive 3* or better hotel for this stay? (ie- for example, would you prefer a 4* hotel for $300 or a 3* hotel for $260) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases

I'm starting to get really frustrated with priceline! Last night we went up to $290 in all zones at a 3* level and couldn't get anything aceepted.
