hoyer801 Posted October 15, 2007 Report Posted October 15, 2007 I'm making a one night trip to Atlanta on November 17-18. I'm planning to stay at a 4* hotel in Buckhead. Hotwire has a 4* Buckhead hotel with fitness, pool, restaurant, and business for $79. From the other posting, it looks like this may be the Westin or Inter-Continental. Does this look accurate or does one seem more likely than another? I've noticed that a lot of people seem to be getting the Inter-Continental on priceline for about this price (though I realize that PL and HW don't necessarily translate to the same deals).
hoyer801 Posted October 15, 2007 Author Report Posted October 15, 2007 Best available rate on hotel website is $179 a night. After reviewing other people's successes, I used the following bid strategy for a 4* Buckhead hotel:60 no62 added atlanta west64 added druid hills66 added forest park68 added jonesboro70 added kennesaw$70 accepted - Intercontinental BuckheadI called the hotel and confirmed, and also gave them my frequent guest number (free online signup) since someone else mentioned they had a problem with getting a two double bed instead of king bed room. The person I talked to said it was all taken care of.Can't wait!
thereuare Posted October 15, 2007 Report Posted October 15, 2007 I'd favor this being the Inter-Continental more so than the Westin and the IC would be our best guess. Please use this HOTWIRE link to begin any purchases you make.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
