Priceline Hotel: 3* Newark (Secaucus-North Bergen) Crowne Plaza

I made a bid on priceline of $104 which got rejected. this was using 2 free re-bids. i then checked HOTWIRE which was able to get a room in secacus/meadowlands, 3* for 109$ a night. the amenities are the following: Hotel Amenities

Complimentary Breakfast

Fitness Center

Pool(s)

High-speed Internet Access

does anyone have any insight into whicih hotel this could be? i can't seem to match this to any of the hotels provided on the hot wire list on this site.

Hi melech99,

2.5* La Quinta Inn and Suites Clifton is now shown as 3* hotel on Hotwire. So you need to pay attention for this star rating inflation by Hotwire. My friend booked 3* hotel in Secaucus using Hotwire, but it was La Quinta Inn and Suites Clifton. I did not confirmed all amenities of this hotel when my friend booked it, but the hotel amenities shown by melech99 are matched with those of La Quinta Inn and Suites Clifton.

Thank you for your reply. I ended up getting the Crowne Plaza Meadowlands, 3 star for $110 a night on priceline. I didn't want to take chance on HOTWIRE...thank g-d i didn't end up with la quinta.
