thereuare Posted October 13, 2007 Report Posted October 13, 2007 Welcome to BetterBidding!Rates are very high for these dates... if you're not successful with the opaque providers, where will you stay and for how much?PS- why are you avoiding SoHo? Marieee Posted October 13, 2007 Author Report Posted October 13, 2007 we want to be near times sq. or 5th ave. our budget is $200 for a 3 or 2 1/2 or 2 star. what do you think we should do?
Sister_X Posted October 13, 2007 Report Posted October 13, 2007 it's the ny marathon weekend and so prices are sky high...
thereuare Posted October 13, 2007 Report Posted October 13, 2007 what do you think we should do?You need to figure out what you will do if you're not successful with the opaque providers... use our BetterChecker to help research rates.I'm guessing you will need to adjust your budget, lower your star rating/expectations, or stay outside of Manhattan, once you see how much hotel direct rates are going for. What is the best deal you're able to find outside of the opaque providers (ie- priceline or HOTWIRE) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
