willowy Posted October 11, 2007 Report Posted October 11, 2007 I wanted a 4* hotel in San Francisco for 30/10 - 2/11. I think i have overpaid through priceline. i have paid $168 + taxes for the Renaissance Stanford Court Hotel in Nob Hill. Yes it looks very nice and Trip Advisor give thumbs up but keep thinking i have overpaidWhat do you think?
thereuare Posted October 11, 2007 Report Posted October 11, 2007 Welcome to BetterBidding! This is more than we usually see this hotel go for, so perhaps you did overbid a bit, but with rates directly thru the hotel website starting at $259/nite this is still a very good deal. Was this your first bid in the zone?Feel free to ask for help before bidding for your next hotel stay.Enjoy your trip. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
slruud Posted October 11, 2007 Report Posted October 11, 2007 Not knowing your bidding it's hard to know. The Marriott webite is quoting $259/nite, so all in all not too bad savings. Where did you start your bidding???Looks Thereuare beat me to it...
