thereuare Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 The amenities on the 4* are common for a city hotel, but those above match the Hyatt Regency so that would be our best guess for that property. The 3* has not yet been identified, but best guess would be the Holiday Inn Express. Please use this HOTWIRE link to begin any purchases you make.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. hacknslice Posted October 10, 2007 Author Report Posted October 10, 2007 If I was to bid on priceline can you give me a strategy for bidding? Also is there an option for choosing 2 double beds instead of a King/Queen? Or is that done after the reservation is made? Thanks
thereuare Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 Also is there an option for choosing 2 double beds instead of a King/Queen? Or is that done after the reservation is made? You can not choose the bed configuration, all that is guaranteed with priceline is a room that will accomdate double occupancy. For further info see the related link in our PRICELINE FAQ.If you want to guarantee separate bedding accomodations, and you want to try to target a specific hotel, HOTWIRE may be a better option as they allow you to search for up to quad occupancy. By searching for more than double occupancy (although you'll only be two) you ensure separate sleeping accomodations for each person. You can try searching for HOTWIRE for triple/quad occupancy (try different variations of 2adults/1child, 2adults/2children, 3adults/0children, 4adults/0children). Sometimes a different hotel is offered once you search for more than double occupancy, and sometimes the price goes up, but occaisionally not.If you still want to try priceline let us know your maximum bid and we'll suggest a strategy for you to follow.
