yankeegirl Posted October 5, 2007 Author Report Posted October 5, 2007 Sorry - yes, it's a three night stay 10/11 - 10/14. Thanks
thereuare Posted October 5, 2007 Report Posted October 5, 2007 The amenities above are common for a city hotel and they match what has previously been reported for the Delta Center-ville, the Hiton Bonaventure, and the Hyatt Regency... so any of these three would be our best guess. Please use this HOTWIRE link to begin any purchases you make.Let us know whatever you end up doing for this stay and how it goes or if we can be of further help. yankeegirl Posted October 7, 2007 Author Report Posted October 7, 2007 Hyatt Regency Downtown Montreal $853 nights 10/11 - 14/07I bid once at $75 Montreal area 3* & it was not accepted. Since there are no rebid areas available (they all have 3*) I waited 24 hrs and bid $85, that bid was accepted. Since I was short on time - I went with a $10 bid increment, maybe could have done better but got the Hyatt & that was the hotel I wanted so totally happy with the price. Oh - closest thing on Hotwire was a 4* which may or may not have been the Hyatt for $123, and Hyatt's website shows the cheapest rate @ $199... I used the SavingsBarn.com PRICELINE link - thanks for all the help & info :)
yankeegirl Posted October 7, 2007 Author Report Posted October 7, 2007 Just a follow up to this - I decided to chance it with Priceline in hopes of getting the Hyatt. I did get it and I posted a new topic in the Priceline forum about that win - $85 same nights.Again, thanks for all the help :)
thereuare Posted October 8, 2007 Report Posted October 8, 2007 Congratulations on your win!Looks like some great savings and an excellent win!
