kfslu Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 When you bid on Priceline, you may get a higher star level. How does that fit with the other star levels? If I bid on a resort, would I get a hotel, and if so what star level would qualify as higher than resort? Or is resort in a category all its own? (I am going to Hawaii and am wondering how to do the strategy on a resort.)

thereuare Posted October 7, 2007 Report Posted October 7, 2007 Please don't doublepost the same question in different forums as they'll just be merged/deleted.To bid for a Resort you would select a "RESORT" category, which falls between 4* and 5* hotels. When bidding resort you could be upgraded to a 5* hotel (if 5* bidding is available in this area). For more info you can see this Priceline Star Ratings thread. If you would like assistance with your upcoming stay please let us know the dates of your stay, zone(s) you're willing to bid, and your maximum bid, and we'll try to help.
