There is a 4* hotel available on Hotwire for $129. Can you help me identify the hotel?There is a 4 1/2* hotel available for $165. What is it?Thank you.

Here are the amenities for the 4* property on Priceline in Hollywood:ResortNear BeachFitness CenterPool(s)Restaurant(s)Business CenterHigh-speed Internet AccessGolf NearbyI thought I might have solved the puzzle - do you have think it is the Diplomat Country Club and Spa because it is near beach? However, wouldn't golf be there not nearby?Thank you.
thereuare Posted October 7, 2007 Report Posted October 7, 2007 HOTWIRE uses a "Golf Nearby" icon for hotels that are near a Golf course as well as those which have their own golf course... all are designated with 'nearby'.I don't believe the above is the Diplomat Country Club as that has previously been reported at the 4.5* level (and i think is the 4.5* hotel offered for your dates... but can't confirm since you didn't supply the amenities shown for that property, so don't know if we're seeing the same hotel on our HOTWIRE searches).A guess on the 4* would be the Westin Diplomat, but then what would the hotel be that is offered in this Hotwire Hollywood thread? (or perhaps this is the same hotel, both are the Westin, but the hotel shows different amenities depending upon certain criteria of the search :)... your post above, and the ohter one i've linked to, only differ by a "Childrens Activiites" icon)Please use this HOTWIRE link to begin any purchases you make.Let us know whatever you decide to do or if we can be of further help. j22frosty Posted January 7, 2008 Author Report Posted January 7, 2008 We gave up trying to book a hotel in the Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood area and went to Bonita Springs instead based upon some of the BetterBidding posts which pointed us at a fantastic rate at the Hyatt there.
