airplanegeek Posted October 9, 2007 Author Report Share Posted October 9, 2007 the weekend we booked was the start of the international balloon fiesta so rates were high all over the city and availability was limited. i was surprised my first bid was accepted. would normally not start bidding at $155, but it was more than 50% below the going rate. surprisingly the hotel was a ghost town on sunday. it appears i may have actually over-bid. :) Link to comment
