Hi,

I'm planning a bachlorette party in Vegas for Friday & Saturday nights (11/9, 11/10). Ideally we would like to stay at the Venetian, Mandalay Bay, Monte Carlo or somewhere else equivalent. Our budget is $250 per room if we can get the Venetian, or $200 for another property.

Any recommendations on which strategy to use? We need two rooms.

Also, any guidelines on whether we can have 4 people stay in a room that is booked on priceline? Is number of guests an issue?

I've never used priceline so any help or advice is much appreciated!!!

Thanks!

Welcome to BetterBidding!

Number of Occupants:

Priceline only guarantees double occupancy, all that is guaranteed is a room which can accomodate two people. You could get room(s) with only one bed in each. Is this acceptable? If not, HOTWIRE may be an option as they allow you to search for up to quad occupancy. Unfortunatley many Vegas hotels are now charing very high rates for occupancy more than two... $15-$30/per nite per room! (ie- adding as much as $60 to the room cost if declaring quad occupancy) Some take the chance and book double occupancy even though they'll be four, others prefer not to take the risk. See the related link in our PRICELINE FAQ for a further discussion.

Early indication is that a 5* hotel is going to be out of your budget. If looking for a 4* property, is the Westin, which is slightly off-strip an option?

Let us know the answers to the questions above and we'll take it from there.
