Priceline Hotel: Assistance/Bid Info for 11/10-11/12 - LV strip

Hello,

Using Priceline, I bid as follows for two nights (Sat & Sun) arriving 11/10 and departing 11/12 on the LV strip. As these bids were all rejected, your assistance would be appreciated. Since we have friends staying at The Mandalay, I would like to stay in the South Strip, but it's not absolutely necessary.

Bid $95 - Rejected - Received a counter for $164

Which zone(s) are you willing to accept? What is your maximum bid for this stay? Some hotels don't allow a Saturday check-in... although only a two nite stay, is SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID an option?

We would prefer to stay in the South Strip area, but would be willing to add North Strip. Our Max Bid for this stay is $250 total.

Yes, splitting my priceline bids is an option.

I don't see anything at the 4* level on the strip doesn't take up your entire budget for the Saturday nite (and Sunday nite isn't that cheap either!)

What is your gameplan if you're not successful for a 4* on the strip at your current maximum budget?

I ended up staying with a friend, who already had a room booked at the Mandalay.
