Searched FLL for 3/5/08-3/6/08, 1 nt, 2 adults (pre-cruise)

I think I'll wait until closer to March and hopefully the prices will drop. I'm hoping they'll offer the Pelican Grand but it's not showing in my search.

While this is a discount, it's not exactly a Hotwire steal. (I can get HI Exp. w/AAA for $197.)

This is a special birthday trip so we're booked with the Pelican Grand Bch Resort pre-cruise (direct, AAA rate) but my practical half wants to find something cheaper since it's only for 1 night. hmmm.... I think for now I'll keep what I have.

Won the Pelican Grand Beach Resort on HW for $134.00 ($153.35 incl. tax/fees) I'm happy; our direct reservation with AAA discount was over $308. I'll gladly give up the oceanview to get it half price.
