Hi everyone,

Through the SB link, I bid as follows (originally hoping for the Country Inn-Elizabeth)

10/19-10/22

Elizabeth 2.5* $49 rejected

When adding the next zones, it automatically added 3*

Added JC up to $54 rejected

Added Secaucus up to $60 rejected

Added Rutherford up to $65 rejected

Added Newark Airport reduced to $55 (Usually enough for the Hilton) rejected

Is something going on that weekend?

Hotwire is offering $82 for a 2.5* at Newark Airport. Any ideas if its the Comfor Suites or the Country Inn?

Part 2

Did a new request starting for 2 nights 10/19-10/21 using the same pattern above

Ultimately receieved Doubletree EWR Airport for $69 per night then used "Add A Night" option for the 3rd night for a total of $253 for the 3 nights.

It's more than I wanted, and no free parking or internet. At least I will be able to sleep- they have great beds.

PS Used their one-time link and scored a Hertz SUV for $29/day.
