Hotwire Hotel: 3* in San Juan, Puerto Rico

I've looked at the descriptions and still can't figure out what hotel this is.

On hotwire 10/06/07-10/07/07 3 Adults. 3*

Amenities include Near beach, pool, restaurant, and business center.

This is a match for the San Juan Beach Resort so that would be our best guess.

Do note it gets awful reviews.

Thanks for the info. I don't think the hotel would work for me after reading the reviews. Budget wise I really would like to stay below $200 for a one night stay.

Are you having trouble finding something within that budget? (as i've found a couple of options)

Are you comfortable declaring 2adults/1child vs. 3adults?

Sure i'm fine with that I just dd not know how particular they were upon check in. One of us can easily wonder around until after the other completes check in. So you think we would be okay doing that? I know when in put in 2 adults as opposed to 3 on hotwire the price is considerably less.

You could always get a hotel, or front desk clerk, that does care, which is why i ask if you're "ok" with it. However, as per below, i'd recommend booking for 2adults/1child to ensure the extra bed :) As well, if you do run into an issue, you can always make up a story about how one of you were supposed to bring your kid but that changed at the last minute and since you already booked the room for three you invited a friend along.

Searching HOTWIRE for 2adults/1child there is a 4* hotel for ~$180/nite which is a match for the Hotel El Convento, and that would be our best guess, which gets excellent reviews (unusual for San Juan). There is also a 3.5* hotel for ~$150 which is believed to most likely be the Radisson Ambassador but that doesn't seem as nearly as good of a deal.
