BrockLong Posted September 28, 2007 Report Posted September 28, 2007 I will be in Las Vegas from Thurs, 11/07 through Sun, 11/11 (leaving this day) and would like to stay on the Strip (preferably in the Bellagio/Caesar's area). I have made refundable reservations at two hotels during this time: (1) MGM Grand for 11/07 and 11/08 at $68 per night; and (2) Planet Hollywood for 11/09 and 11/10 at $199 for both nights. (The $199 rate includes giving me $100 in casino chips, effectively lowering the cost to $99. The second reservation also is refundable only for the next two weeks). In sum, I have four nights (including weekend nights) on the strip for roughly @$250.The Planet Hollywood arrangement requires me to take a 2 hour tour of a time-share property. I am not thrilled by the prospect of having to take the tour and listening to a sales talk. I, however, have looked at numerous rates at different hotels and recognize that the $99 for the weekend nights is not a bad deal.My question: Do you think that I could get a better deal at a comparable hotel on the Strip via Priceline or Hotwire than what I presently have arranged? I would like to avoid the time-share tour but will take it if it puts me in a good hotel on the Strip at a good price. I just don't have a real sense of what I could get by bidding/buying blindly. Any insight/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Did you remember to use our link? :)The $199 rate includes giving me $100 in casino chips...Are you sure these are casino chips and not "match play" chips?
