Priceline Hotel: help 9 nights 27 nov to 6 dec

Hi there,

I am from the uk and looking to book a hotel in pref central strip about 4* quality but not the Luxor.

Should i try Priceline or hotewire or just book it direct with the hotel.

I have never used priceline or hotwire before but have read faqs.

Help would be appreciated looking to bid between $60 and $80 do you think any chance?

If there is a 4* hotel you're not willing to accept (ie- Luxor), then i would not bid that zone.

HOTWIRE has a 4* hotel in the Central Strip zone with Casino, Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Spa... believed to be Planet Hollywood, for $89/nite. Would this work for your plans?

The luxor is not on central strip so this may be okay could it also be any of the hotels apart from Planet Hollywood as a few on the strip have spas?

Also is it still a building site or is there very little work to complete?

Most of the 4* hotels on the strip have Spas, and we can't see the name either :), so it could always be a different hotel... but the above matches what is currently being seen for Planet Hollywood so that is our best guess.

I haven't heard any reports of construction lately and havent' been to Vegas in a few years, so can't comment as to the state of the construction in the area.
