Bermuda Posted September 25, 2007 Report Posted September 25, 2007 Thanks this is my first post and I will use the support link to book my hotel. I live in Bermuda so using Priceline is not an option as they do not accept non US credit cards but HOTWIRE does. We are need a hotel in downtown Manahatten for this Saturday September 29th and I have 3 in mind I am skeptical of the 4* in Mindtown East for $164 as I have always thought if a deal is to good to be true it usually is so any help in identifying would help.Hotel # 1 is 4* Hotel in Downtown Soho @ $294 per room per night. AaronJB Posted September 25, 2007 Report Posted September 25, 2007 Hello and welcome to the site! :)I'd definitely take the 4* in MTE. Looks to be either the Intercontinental Barclay or Grand Hyatt, although if I had to lean more towards which one I think it is out of those two, I'd say the Intercontinental. $164 for a 4* on this date would be a great deal. The first one (the Suite listing) on your list is the Embassy Suites Downtown, but unsure as to the second one on your listPlease use the site's HOTWIRE link (here: HOTWIRE) if you do decide to book.If the third listing is the Intercontinental or Grand Hyatt (not guaranteed, but I think it would be a match for one or the other), then their regular rates (at least that I am seeing) are definitely higher than the Hotwire rate.
AaronJB Posted September 25, 2007 Report Posted September 25, 2007 Additionally, if you are interested in the $164 rate on HOTWIRE, I'd take it quickly, as Hotwire rates can go up or listings can vanish at any time. This is especially true for NYC, given how busy it is. Best of luck on your purchase and please let us know how it goes.
thereuare Posted September 25, 2007 Report Posted September 25, 2007 I agree with the above... best guess the MTE hotel is the Inter-Continental and i would jump on it as it may not be offered for long. Thanks in advance for using our HOTWIRE link.Good Luck and let us know how it goes. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
